Every year, the team of Australia Needs Fatima brings the Pilgrim Statue of Our Lady of Fatima to members' homes. We try to ensure that visits take place in the main urban centres in Australia.
A host member arranges for a suitable group of family and friends to be present for the Visitation. Some parishes with their priest organise a Visitation of the Pilgrim Statue as well. A short talk ends with the recitation of the Holy Rosary and refreshments.
These Visitations have proved to be very popular especially in spreading the Message of Our Lady of Fatima and in spreading the devotion of the Rosary among both Catholics and non-Catholics.
The Pilgrim Statue: The Pilgrim Statue is an accurate copy of the original Pilgrim Statue of Our Lady of Fatima. The image of the figure of Mary was described in detail to the sculptor by Sister Lucia herself.
